What is Podcasting?

Podcasting is a series of audio episodes or 'radio shows' delivered via the internet.

Although the name is a play on the words 'iPod' and 'broadcasting', a March 2006 report stated that 80% of podcast "episodes" are "consumed" on the PC onto which they are downloaded, i.e. they are never actually transferred to an iPod or other portable player.

People can subscribe freely to your 'channel' and are automatically sent new audio episodes of your show, via an RSS feed.

The end user experience is suprisingly easy, considering that it is quite complex to set up and produce - thats where Tandem Voice Booth comes in!
