 Case Study :: World Buskers Festival 2008

In January 2008 the World Buskers Festival opened in Christchurch. We pitched an idea to the organisers that we compile a daily VidCast from the festival. This report would then be posted with a short blog entry on a satellite website to the official World Buskers Festival site, www.wbflive.co.nz, which we created.

• We also created a daily podcast hosted by one of the performers
• Site built in 2 days to host the audio podcasts and Vidcasts on one page
• We produced a video for every day of the festival which was hosted by our VidCast engine
• Organisers were extremely happy with the quick turnaround, the brilliant inception, the creative production and the flawless delivery that we can offer with our range of new media services.

Case Study :: Earth Hour Christchurch 2008

WWF New Zealand in association with the Christchurch Press organised for Christchurch to take part in the worldwide eco-event - Earth Hour - in March 2008.

We proposed to the organisers that we create a new media rich website which would act as a motivator for people new to the concept, and a validator for people already taking part in the event.

• We build a satellite website www.christchurchearthhour.co.nz
• Created a short video each day relating to Earth Hour and how the local community, businesses and inviduals were involved
• Toyota New Zealand came to the party and sponsored the online videos, which gave them a great deal of exposure to the 25,000+ views the videos recieved leading up to the event and in the weeks after
• The website www.christchurchearthhour.co.nz not only displayed the videos, but let viewers leave comments and feedback through the in-built blog, opening a two-way communication channel with the audience
